Unforgettable Experience - #BDJ Beauty BootCamp

Hi everyone ^^ Did you attend the last BDJ Box event last June 7 at the Blue Leaf Filipinas, Parañaque? If yes, then nice! We can talk and share about our experience on that event. If not, then still nice! you must read this post loud and clear so you will be jealous haha! Kidding! this post might be a great medium to give you more information about the BDJ events. You will surely enjoy each events of BDJ box and Belle De Jour Power Planner because they don't just give you exciting experiences, they will also give you more friends and inspirations in life ^^
BDJ Beauty BootCamp is the first event of BDJ Box that has 15 different workshops in a day plus a beauty fair. Its been 10 days since the event but I can't still get over on my #BDJBeautyBootCamp experience. I really really want to share my experience in this event to you my lovable readers and friends :D

I left home 6am because I want to be sure that I will come early to have a free flipflops from Salvatos hehe. I was actually expecting that I will be lost since that is my first time to go to Parañaque. And what I expected was right. I was lost haha! And luckily because I left our home early I still arrived at the venue early. I still made it haha!

What happen? Why I lost my sense of direction?

Google map is my best friend. That is a fact haha! Am from Binangonan Rizal and studying at a university that is 1km away at our home made me not familiar in Manila, that is why every time I will go to BDJ events (the event that I religiously want to attend to) I always check the route on google map and trip barker. This is not my first time to be lost haha! But this is my first time I lost in the middle of nowhere. As in NOWHERE.

I honestly dont ride in a bus nor fx because of my trauma. Only jeep, MRT/LRT and Taxi is the only vehicle that I can ride in.

I ride in a jeep to MRT Shaw boulevard Station then ride on MRT to taft. I chose to ride again in a jeep to MOA and just transfer to another jeep that will pass by to blue leaf filipinas (that is according to my research/ google map). When I arrived to MOA, it was super smoothly, no traffic experienced. I decided to ask some barkers at the MOA jeep station and that is the start of miserable lost of GLORIE the wanderer haha! They told me that I should ride on other jeep going to BAKLARAN then ask the another driver where should I get off, I'll just need to walk few steps to reach blue Leaf Filipinas. UNLUCKILY, the driver whom I ask actually don't know the Blue Leaf Filipinas. I just trust him because of I don't know reason xD the jeep driver told me to get off in a intersection that I don't even know where. I followed hem and get off to the intersection. I just walk near to the City of dreams because I know the blue leaf filipinas is near there. I was so nervous that time because only few cars are passing by, I only saw construction men and beggars who are making fun of me, they are laughing because they know that I am missing. I can't talk to them because they might put me inside a sack and so something I cant imagine T.T I thought that is my last day of my life CHOZ! Haha! Now way! I can kick their butt off if they will try to hurt me.

God loves me so much that a jeep passed by and told me to get in and he said he will bring me to where will I go. I told him no, just bring me to the nearest taxi station or place that hava taxi passing by. I am actually hesitating to book a ride to a grab a taxi because I know they might reject my book and that will definitely makes me wait for a long time.

Then the driver brought me to coastal mall where I encounter a very rude taxi driver. I forgot his plate number but I already reported him online. I know no action will be done there but its ok, makonsensensya na lang sya haha! That taxi driver brought me to the blue leaf and asking me to pay more than the ride cost. I just give him what he want so we dont need to argue. That is why I didn't bought anything at the beauty fair. T.T sad story. But I am still happy that I am one of the early bird even though I was lost haha!Anyways I wont be lost again. I will just book a ride to Grab A Taxi right away and will not commute again if I know the place is already near to me :D

When I was at the Venue - Blue Leaf Filipinas, honestly never thought that time will pass that quick. The venue has the atmospherics that will make you feel at home. And I love it. I am dreaming to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday there that is why I am hoping to win the contest of Blue Leaf Filipinas ^^

I want to celebrate #thebesttimes of my life at The Blue Leaf Filipinas because this place has an awesome Filipino...

I was so late when I purchased my workshop pass because there are lots of errors when I registered it.  I won one of the giveaway of Kikay si kat  and chose Sultry Date Look w/ Benefit as my workshop and bought the other 3 workshops.

♥Trendy Nail Art w/ Revlon
♥Bare your Best Skin w/ Pond's
♥Be Wedding Ready w/ Max Factor
♥Sultry Date Look w/ Benefit

In every workshop we received gift from the brand like in Revlon we received 2 nail polish, in Pond's we received a loot full of ponds product , in Max Factor we received a makeup bag and in Benefit we received a sample of porefessional and puff off. We also received another travel size product from Benefit when we join the photo contest ^^
I learn so many things in the workshop, my favorite is the Max Factor and the Revlon nail art. Mr Bobbie Carlos is super awesome teacher haha! Very funny yet informative while in Revlon I learned some techniques in nail art and I think I am starting to love nail arts because of the workshop ^^

Inside the beauty fair, we dont just see some merchant selling products but also promos and games where you can win prize. ^^ as I said a while ago I didn't buy any makeup product because of what happen to me before I arrived to the event plus I don't bring the yamashita tresure in me haha!.  kasi naman imagine 60% off diba? I should take advantage on that sale. Anyways, I bought something naman and that is globe master card and ponds anti acne facial cleanser ^^ I also won some products like Wacoal tube which is my favorite ^^ I also won one of the raffles of BDJ and it was the Aloe Derm Soothing Skin Set for Sensitive Skin ^^ it is worth 1600php and this is my first time to try such expensive product THANK YOU VERY MUCH ALOE DERM! I will post a review of Aloe derm Soothing Skin Set for Sensitive Skin as soon as I start using it ^^

I met many friends there but I forgot all of their names T.T but will meet them again on the next BDJ events so I don't need to worry haha! All of them are so beautiful and fun to be with ^^ I wish I have much more time to have a convo with them ^^

When I am already going home, I booked a ride to Grab a Taxi, It is my first time and I am so happy because It is Free!!! YEAY! :D

A photo posted by Glorie Paralejas (장찬미) (@glorieday) on

My experience in #BDJBeautyBootCamp is really really unforgettable :D I had so much fun in learning many beauty techniques from experts, meeting new friends/bellas, wining awesome prizes and being lost in the middle of nowhere haha! I made it! I did it all by myself! DALAGA NA KO haha! Thanks BDJ!! I hope I can attend all of their events, but sometime I didn't received any invites ^^ this month there will be the next event which is the Watch Me Shine on June 27 2015 1pm to 5pm at Glorietta 3, Hallway ^^

I AM LEATHER ADDICT - The Tannery Manila

Happy Independence day everyone! I know many of us don't have class or work today, a very long weekend ahead haha! I'll get this opportunity to introduce to you one of my recent activity ^^

Yesterday, my sister and I attended the bloggers' night held by The Tannery Manila to showcase their brand to us bloggers.  The Tannery Manila is came from a long line of leather makers - Hermoso family. they started the craft and honing skills in leather making since 1901. We can say that they are really expert in this field right? Imagine, 116 years of leather making. They are also known in exporting since 2007 where they ship their leather products to Germany, Japan, Australia and join both international and local export. They started small through exhibits, online selling, private sales until their first store in Tiendesitas. Their products are 100% Filipino and Handmade, most are made from cow leather with accents of exotic skin and all of their designs are classic and timeless designs

Their shop's history and products are really impressive right? that's why most of their bags ranges from 3000php-9000php. and bag is not only their product. They also offer accessories, bags, leather solutions plus made-order services and monogram & alteration services. Also, repair service is provided to all clients who bought products from them.

I am a leather addict. As you can read on my previous post about the Tannery Manila. Actually my my uncles are shoe-makers before so my mom really enjoy leathers, from shoes to bags to wallets and of course, because of that, I do love leather also haha! I can say that I can identify what is good and what is not in a leather because my Mom taught me about that. and when I saw the products from Tannery Manila, my thumbs are up and I am nodding to say that their products are really good.

So here's a glimpse from The Tannery Manila's show room in Building A Level 1, Tiendesitas, Pasig City.
