[Korea] Hallyu experience and moonlight tour program for foreign visitors

The Korea Tourism Organization is offering a unique opportunity to international visitors to experience both traditional palaces as well as Asia's first wax museum, Grevin Seoul Museum, all in one day.

The tour starts off with checking out an exhibit of about 80 wax sculptures of famous Koreans and other world leaders on display at Grevin Seoul Museum. After a visit to the museum, participants will join theMoonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace, which will be accepting applications via e-mail until August 20.

As Asia’s first wax museum, housed in the Euljiro Annex of Seoul City Hall, the museum boasts uncannily realistic wax sculptures of K-Pop Stars, including G-Dragon and Psy. It also features famous hallyu stars like Lee Min-ho and Kim Soo-hyun, as well as sports stars Kim Yu-na and Park Ji-sung. There are other experiential activities in place as well to make the tour even more memorable.

The program is scheduled for August 27, 2015, and will be run free of charge for a total of 30 foreign participants. Selected participants are requested to upload at least one review and photo taken during the program to their personal social media page, as well as e-mail the URL of the post to kkkim59@knto.or.kr.

[Korea] Experience Korean Traditions First-hand!

The number of foreigners wanting to participate in traditional cultural experiences increases as Korean thanksgiving, also known as Chuseok, draws nearer. A variety of traditional cultural experiences and programs are readily available across Seoul, gaining great popularity.

With that, several cultural events and programs that are either ongoing or scheduled to be held in Seoul are as follows.

Coming August 28, the Seoul Baekjungnori play will be held at City Hall (Seoul Plaza), where you can experience one of the traditional folk events that used to be held on July 15 of the lunar calendar.

Also, from September 5 to October 25, Tea Ceremony Experience will take place at Jagyeongjeon in Gyeongbokgung Palace where you can learn traditional Korean tea culture and etiquette during a tea ceremony. Also Namsangol Hanok Village is set to offer a photo shoot session wearing hanbok, Korea’s traditional costumes, until November 9.

[Korea] Grand K-POP Festival for K-pop fans all over the world!

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea (MCST) and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) are hosting a large-scale Hallyu concert for international visitors in a bid to promote Korea Grand Sale, which is running from August 14 to October 31, 2015.

Visitors can see top K-pop stars, including Girls' Generation, CN Blue and Beast performing on a single stage, as well as sample traditional Korean hansik dishes and try on traditional Korean hanbok clothes. Those who wish to participate may register for a free admission coupon at www.grandkpopfestival.com starting from 13:00 KST on August 20, 2015.

The admission coupons will be distributed to the first 30,000 people. The coupon must be printed and shown along with a valid passport at the international information booth for foreign visitors in exchange for the admission ticket. More detailed information on the schedule and performers is available at the official event website.

BTOB to Join Battle of June Comebacks with First Official Album

Heating the summer up even more, BTOB announced that it will be returning in June with a full album.

On June 4, it was announced that BTOB will be releasing its first full-length album at the end of June. BTOB′s comeback comes six months after its winter special album Winter’s Tale, which was released in December of 2014.

After much success in Japan, even ranking in second place for the Oricon Weekly chart, BTOB is planning on continuing the success in Korea with its first official album.

Ready to show a complete change in music, the group has recently finished selecting the title song and working to finalize the album production. More information on the new album will be revealed in the near future.

Nine Muses to Comeback in July

Nine Muses will be returning with an album to join the girl group battle this summer.

On June 4, the group’s agency, Star Empire, revealed that Nine Muses will release an album in the beginning of July. It has been five months since the release of their previous mini album DRAMA.

A staff from the agency said, “We had a photo shoot for the album cover last week. The concept of the album is going to be ‘summer’ enhancing our members’ strengths of being models.”

Meanwhile, Nine Muses is starring in their self-made reality show Nine Muses Cast which is aired on Naver TV Cast Star Empire Channel every Tuesday at 6 p.m.

2015 Travel Tour Expo with N.O.M and Sandara Park

Is anyone who loves to travel? MEEE!! haha! I love to travel but I have to first focus on the things I need to pursue right now before pursuing my travel dreams :D  I know everyone of us loves to visit and discover the things in the world. (wuahhh, God never fail us to amaze in His creations) and if you love to travel, the 2015 Travel Tour Expo is a best event place for youuuu! 2015 Travel Tour Expo held last February 13,14,15, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center. Entrance fee: Php100 

2015 Travel Tour Expo is a event like a Bazaar where you can find a perfect travel packages in different travel agencies. Of course it is a travel with a twist :D marketers should offer new things to make their project boomed :D It is not just a Bazaar but there is also performers and games in every booth. You will love to go to that event :D as far as I know the 2015 Travel Tour Expo is only happen once a year that's why it is a very very Big event where famous stars and performers are invited and many many many more events happening inside that very big event haha! (sorry for being exaggerated much haha!) Actually I don't have any idea that my friends and I are going to 2015 Travel Tour Expo haha! because our main goal there is to meet the N.O.M and Sandara Park :D I thought it is just an event for the Korean tourism and surprised me that 2015 Travel Tour Expo is a very big event and runs for 3 days. We visit the event on its last day February 15, 2015.

There are lots and lots of travel agency from the 1st floor of the SMX to 2nd floor :D of course because my friends (Sai and Sophia) and I loves Korea we spend most of our time in the Korean booths like the Korean Cultural Center, Korea Tourism Organization Booth and the Imagine your Korea Booth. We visited other booths like the Philippines and Japan :D

 here's the Thailand Booth. I forgot the name of the performers but they are awesome :) I can't I dentify if they are girls or not haha! But they are ALL beautiful :)

My camera was dead at the time we visited the Korea Tourism Organization Booth and the Imagine your Korea Booth that's why I don't have the photo at their booth. That booth promoted the medical tour in Korea. Do you know it?

Medical Tour in Korea is an awesome tour package if you want to relax and be healthy :D we all know that Korea is known for their specialties like medicine and beauty right? so Medical tour is a tour not only for you to check your health or to heal your sickness or to try their beauty expertise but also for you to experience the beauty of Korea because they will also tour you at some relaxing places in Korea! wow! amazing right? :D

Lucky that Saira and I won a Exclusive Fan Meet with N.O.M. We just make a Fan sign for N.O.M (I'll attach my entry on the last past of this post :D)

Many fans were disappointed because we didn't experience what the PKCI's promise to us -- to have an interaction with the N.O.M, a hand shake and a sign:( we only see them for I think 3 minutes and that's it! we'd waited it for almost 2 hours and we only saw them for 3 minutes.. so sad :( but at least we saw them few meters away haha! it's a great experience though :D Til next time N.O.M :D  I met few kpop friends there too :0 you know who you are :D  Sandara Park was there also but I didn't saw her because I am very lazy with pushing myself on a crowd haha! My over all experience was amazing! Imagine I hit many birds in one stone. I N.O.M (kpop), experience Korean tourism events, learn so much about tourism in man places in the world and many more :D Attending in this kind of event is wonderful! I will definitely visit the Travel Tour Expo next year and I will assure you that I will book my flight i mean Flights haha! (as if I have lots of money haha!) :D sayang yung punta ko ngayon I didn't know it was a Travel Tour Expo haha! Lots of seat sales and discount was offered there that time. Reminisce Fandom Express 2014 HAHA!

I've been busy after the Fandom Express event last December 20 2014 that's why I just follow up this post.

For new here, you might have no Idea what the Fandom Express is. So you might be interested to visit my last post about it (Fandom Express 2014) but of course I will give you a very short description what is Fandom Express

Fandom Express is a Kpop Gathering. It is hosted by die hard fans from Chingupop Community with partnership with Chingupop K-store. It is made for Kpop fans in Rizal only but eventually (also hoping too) after sometime it may be a Kpop gathering nationwide haha! (Taas mangarap! ) Of course this event won't be success without YOU my fellow Kpop Fans it is open for all FANDOM, its objective is to meet new CHINGUS from your fandom or from other fandom

Warning: this blog post is full of drama and emotion (choz!) Haha!

Last December 2014, unexpectedly, more than 70 people attended the very first ever ever ever Kpop gathering for all rizalenio (actually there's a attendee from manila too)*cry*cry*. I never expected that.

UNEXPECTEDLY also, there's so much technical problem wandering around that time that's why Saira and I became more haggard than ever. BUT, that's just a problem, the show must go on!

Hosted by Saira, my much much energetic friend that day, we survive the event haha! And it is a SUCCESS!
