[Korea] Top 7 Scenic Spots around Hangang River

Autumn is the best season of the year for leisure strolls and viewing of sceneries changing into warmer tones of red, orange and yellow. River banks scattered around the city of Seoul must not be missed as they are one of the most beautiful places to visit during this period. 

Therefore, the city of Seoul has picked the top 7 spots for tourists to explore. These trails or paths are made easy trekking for all, including the old and young, together with the addition of great accessibility by public transportation! In order to enjoy the most out of the city, the Seoul Metropolitan Government recommends Course 1 for friends, Course 3 for couples and Course 4 for families with children respectively. Lastly, these places are marked with plenty and very informative signs as guides, thus serving as a great spot for international visitors to go as well.

Course 1 Reed field trail at Nanji Hangang Park (갈대바람길)
-Direction: Hapjeong Station (Seoul Subway Line 2, 6), approx. 10-min by taxi ride.
Course 2 Water bank trail at Banpo Hangang Park (수변길)
-Direction: Dongjak Station (Seoul Subway Line 4, 9), Exit 1 or 2, approx. 2-min by walking.
Course 3 Forest trail at Ttukseom Hangang Park (숲속길)
-Direction: Ttukseom Park Station (Seoul Subway Line), Exit 2 or 3, approx. 3-min by walking.
Course 4 Pebble path at Godeok Riverside Ecological Park (자갈길)
-Direction: Myeongil Station (Seoul Subway Line 5), Exit 3, approx. 8-min by taxi ride.
Course 5 Stream path at Gangseo Marsh Ecological Park (물새길)
-Direction: Banghwa Station (Seoul Subway Line 5), Exit 1 or 2, approx. 7-min by taxi ride.
-Direction: Amsa Station (Seoul Subway Line 8), Exit 4, approx. 5-min by walking.
Course 7 Fish road at Jamsil Hangang Park (어도탐방길)
-Direction: Jamsillnaru Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 4, proceed to the connected pathway.
